Counseling
A NOTE FROM YOUR SCHOOL COUNSELOR
Hello Hawk Families,
My name is Ally Turkington and I am the school counselor at Hogan Cedars Elementary. I am so excited and honored to be joining this community! I am committed to supporting and empowering our students to become their best selves. My primary task is to help all students become better learners by providing a comprehensive counseling program that meets their academic, personal/social, and career development needs.
I will be meeting with students individually, in small groups, conducting classroom lessons, and collaborating as a team member with families and staff. My lessons focus on improving student skills such as problem solving, emotional regulation, friendship, etc. to help them be successful in school and beyond.
As the counselor, I have the privilege of providing support to every student and family at Hogan Cedars. If you would like to request I meet with your child for a specific concern, please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to a great school year and getting to know all of our wonderful students!
Sincerely,
Ally Turkington
